What is my role and responsibility as a van owner in the GoCamp fleet?
As a van owner, you are an important part of what makes GoCamp a curated and elite fleet. Our vans are high quality, unique, and hop in and go ready. Our best van owners do an incredible job of keeping their vans clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with essential camping gear.
GoCamp Counselors assist renters in booking the right camper van for their plans. Once the booking is confirmed, we provide the renter with your contact information and access to your unique Road Trip Ready Guide, which includes all the details about your camper van.
You’ll need to be available at that point to chat directly with the renter and to confirm details such as pick-up and drop-off time and location, as well as to answer questions. At pick up, you will take pre-trip photos of the van, complete the departure form, and show the renter how the van works before handing over the keys.
While the renter is on a trip, you are the primary point of contact to answer the renter's questions or help troubleshoot any issues. When the renter returns, you will do a walkthrough of the van with the renter and complete the return form. Then you will submit that return form to GoCamp with details from the reservation for payout, noting mileage, tolls, any post-trip charges, etc.
