Where can I park and camp in a camper van?

Most camper vans can travel anywhere a standard car can go. Many even fit in a regular parking space, while others need a bit more room. For overnight camping, both public and private campgrounds are a great option. You’ll pay for a designated space to park your van. Amenities, such as access to water, bathrooms and electricity, will vary. Additionally, the US Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the US Forest Service (USFS) allow free camping on some of their publicly-managed lands. Websites and apps such as iOverland, HipCamp, freecampsites.net, and Sēkr can help you find a campsite.
